Ventegra has been a proud participant in Bike MS

At Ventegra, ending multiple sclerosis is a cause close to our heart. Not only does it align with our mission to promote healthcare as a social good, it also directly impacts employees who have loved ones affected by MS.

Mariana Ritchie, Industry Relations Vice President, first heard of the National MS Society through her responsibility as a caregiver to her aunt. She deeply appreciated the society's support for her aunt's condition and began participating in Bike MS in 1996. Since then, she and her husband have biked at the event together every year as their special way to celebrate their anniversary. They also make donations to the society in each other's name in place of gifts.

Mariana's dedication to MS and the pride of knowing she is making a different has extended to other Ventegrans. For the past few years, Ventegra has been a proud participant in Bike MS. “We've raised approximately $100K for the organization, funding research to eradicate MS and services to improve the lives of people with the disease,” says Mariana. This year, funds raised supported the National MS Society's COVID-19 Response Fund, which combats the new challenges the pandemic brings to people living with MS. Another change to the 2020 event was its virtual nature. Kristen Gronberg, Account Manager, says, “This was my first year participating, and the virtual structure made that possible!” Renae Jaggli, Contracts Supervisor, also was a first-time rider and echoes Kristen's enthusiasm, saying, “This is a fun and wonderful way to provide donations to the MS Society.”
