Community Involvement

A Message of Gratitude

On behalf of the Ventegra family, we wish you and your loved ones a happy holiday season!

Please know that we are especially grateful to all our supporters for the work that you do and being such an important part of our Ventegra family.

During the holidays, our Ventegrans have been giving back to their communities in a variety of ways, including donating to the Orangewood Foundation Thanksgiving drive, serving meals to those without a place to go, collecting warm coats for women's shelters, and more...

  • Mariana (Vice President, Industry Relations) and her husband, Adam Carleton, just recently completed Ventegra's annual bike ride for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, raising a grand total of $10,225 to fund MS research. They have fundraised over $200,000 for the organization over the years!

  • James (Customer Care Specialist) participates in yearly marathon fundraising events for Prevent Cancer Foundation, Doctors Without Borders, and National Alliance on Mental Illness. Additionally, he is a donor to the Critical Role Foundation, which supports causes ranging from literacy to disaster relief. He plans to become more directly involved with the Trevor Project- a nonprofit that offers mental health support services to LGBTQIA+ youth.

  • Tara (Account Manager II) and Laura (Manager, Benefit Preservation Program) both volunteer at The Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio. Their contributions include fundraising, donating, sorting medications, and empowering other pharmacy technicians to do the same. Volunteers like Tara and Laura help this pharmacy provide medications and other resources at no cost to patients who are at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.

  • Don (Senior Director, Strategic Business Development) unloads food and hands out meals to clients at the Glen Ellyn food pantry every week. He donates his time to fight food insecurity and ensure those who have fallen on hard times have proper nutrition.

  • Athena (Business Support Specialist- Analytics) provides hearty meals and necessities (i.e., toiletries, towels, blankets, and jackets) to homeless and transitioning veterans through the nonprofit Da Tzang Foundation. It's a family effort- Athena volunteers with her mom, who has worked with different foundations in multiple states to provide much-needed assistance for our vets.

We appreciate all that Ventegrans do to make a difference. Together, these efforts make a meaningful contribution to the community that we serve.

Best wishes to you and your family!

Bob and Carol Taketomo
